Just to clarify my last message, the new book out this month is
actually titled "Programming in Objective-C" by Stephen Kochan . I've
ordered it and just waiting for it to arrive to find out what's in it.

Mats,
I am reading several books on http://safari.oreilly.com.
Learning Cocoa with Objective C 2nd edition was very helpfull to start
writing my first cocoa apps. I did not feel that the book was much
less usefull using Xcode instead of PB.
Even though the available online articles and documentation are
sufficient (look also at stepwise.com and other websites) I personally
find it more effective to read a book. I started out using the online
doc, but found that you get a somewhat fragmented picture of cocoa
development.
Good luck getting started with this great framework.

Frank

Dear all,
I'm a newbie to Cocoa development, and as such I've been looking for
books to help get me up to speed faster.
However, considering Xcode and OS X.3 most books available seems 'out
of date' now.
So, should I splash out on a/some book(s) now, or wait till Xcode
updates comes along, whenever that is?
If so, which books are recommended and why ??
Or should I just concentrate on reading the available Apple
documentation, and save the money ??
What do you, more experienced guys & gals think ???
Kind regards,
Mats
