I wonder,
I see on OS X installer only CLIENT of mySQL.
There is no mySQL server itself.
Am I right?
You all probably have here history that this Summer,
MySQL was removed from PHP distribution archive,
Because (as I have hear) mySQL have made license more strict.

Ian, better check Valentina :-)
SqlLite has many limitations.
And as you see they have only local engine.
Valentina will allow you now, develop as local so client/server solutions.
