Obviously from reading your answer, it shows my lack of understanding of database architectures. I believe you are correct in everything you presented, I obviously interpreted them incorrectly.
Maybe this forum isn't the best place for this part of the discussion...
So to clear up some of my ignorance on the subject, what exactly is the difference between a Object Relational Database and an Object Oriented Database Management System.
