No, anyone is perfectly free to use whatever hacks they wish. What is unreasonable, however, is to complain when those hacks break their system or if as a developer they make use of private API which is subsequently changed. Or if you wish to complain, perhaps you might first review your EULA (in particular section 2C)...

Out of curiosity, is that the same "mmalcolm crawford" <email@hidden> advertising some potentially out of control mail bundles to the UK NEXTSTEP Announce Mailing List?
