question about compatibility

  • Subject: question about compatibility

Hello:

I have an app that uses Rendezvous, but the networking portion of the app could be optional. I'm thinking about supporting OS X 10.1.5, but I have a few questions:

1. Should I? I only received one email from an OS X 10.1 user when I released the app (it's free software). Should I even spend any time trying to support Puma?

2. If I should, how can I? When I use the 10.1.5 SDK, I'm bombarded with "NSNetService is undefined" messages, unsurprisingly. Would I need to fork the project and remove all the Rendezvous code for the 10.1 version or is there some way to do it all with one executable?

Thanks,
Chaz McGarvey
