Non-continuous Color Panel

  • Subject: Non-continuous Color Panel

I'm trying to the color panel in a non-continuous mode (i.e., setContinuous:NO). Unfortunately there seems to be a bug in Jaguar (fixed in Panther) in the "List" and "Crayons" color pickers in this mode that causes them to never notify anything when their color changes. One workaround would seem to be to enable the continuous mode when these color pickers are chosen but I can't find a way to know that reliably (I tried to override "setMode:" by posing as NSColorPanel and/or NSColorPicker but this usually isn't called). Is there some way to know when the color picker changes or another way to work around this problem?

Thanks,
Nick Nallick
