Justin, you could try:
if (releaseTest != nil) {
if ([[self class] isMemberOfClass: [NSString class]]) {
NSLog(@"C: releaseTest NOT nil. (%x) [%i]", self , [self
retainCount]);
} else {
NSLog(@"C: releaseTest NOT nil. (%x)", self);
}
} else {
NSLog(@"C: releaseTest nil.");
}
But once you've put in for release you may lose the object if it gets
released when you don't expect it to.
You may want to frame that in exception handling
