Modem, Mics, and Speakers

I'm not sure this is really the list to post this to but it is a Cocoa app I'm working on... so none the less...

I'm looking for info on how to use Cocoa to answer the phone line plugged into the built in modem (after a given number of rings) and then patch the phone lines in-coming voice single to the mac's mic or line-in and also patch the mac's speaker to the phone lines out-going voice signal.

No I don't want to use the mac as a telephone; as you can see the line in (mic) is taken over by the INcoming signal and the I want the mac to think the modem phone line's out signal is its speaker.
