Using a specific (arabic) keyboard layout in a text field. How?

Hi folks,
I4m programming a cross language educational app in XCode which needs to get input in arabic and a second other language. Thing is, that I want my app to only accept arabic input in a specific NSTextfield (as well as the NSSearchField). I don4t want my user to always switch keyboard layouts after chosing that textfield.

-> So is there a simple way in Cocoa to switch the layout? (I searched the lists but it only said back in 2002 there is none but some Carbon solution which I4m really not likely to try)

-->or can I tell my TextField to interpret any input as arabic input?

Well, I hope I somehow managed to describe properly what my problem is because I4m really not good at it :-)

Thanks in advance,
Bernd.

BTW, it4s going to be an arabic verb conjugation app and whoever is interested in joining the team is welcome. It4s gonna be GPLed. _______________________________________________
