Shaun, it's better to sort on the list-id, or on Sender:.. that way
you get the list copies together in their folder, and the personal
replies in your own. although that's a personal taste situation.
It works quite nicely though.
I've used "my" method since Mail was Mail, probably because I read
several styles of mailing list which don't all provide the same header
fields, and this seems to work with all of them. I have a complex
hierarchy of Mail Rules, and a benefit of this is that any cross-posts
will be sorted accordingly, being placed into only the highest-priority
group in the list, so it won't pollute the other mailboxes; avoids
having to read any duplicate messages, unless the OP sends them
addressed separately to each list.
