NSImageView and TGA image format.

Hello everyone,
I got an NSImageView in my app. I can drag n drop images into it, and they all work great, except for images tat are of '.TGA' image format. caould anyone advise me as how to get around this ? or what might be the problem ?
my goal is to use an imageView as an 'imageWell' into which i drag n drop images. and ultimately i call 'image' to get the NSImage info.
