Hello,
While having nightmares trying to have my spellchecker service to work I
found out that system was also loading services from files which are not in
Services folder.
- Is there any documentation regarding how these services are loaded so that
i can understand more what i am dealing with?
And a side info: while trying to fix things up; that is deleting various
versions my spellchecker, TextEdit started to behave erratically and could
not bring the spellchecking dialog when selected. The log indicated the
following errors;
2004-02-05 17:06:33.651 TextEdit[295] *** Assertion failure in -[NSMenu
itemAtIndex:], Menus.subproj/NSMenu.m:638
2004-02-05 17:06:33.652 TextEdit[295] *** NSRunLoop ignoring exception
'NSInternalInconsistencyException' (reason 'Invalid parameter not
satisfying: (index >= 0) && (index < (_itemArray ?
CFArrayGetCount(_itemArray) : 0))') that raised during posting of delayed
perform with target 19d5e0 and selector '_preflightSpellChecker:'
