NonactivatingPanelMask and NSColorPanel

Is there any way I can make the NSColorPanel act as a
nonactivating Panel? I tried subclassing NSColorPanel and
overriding initWithContentRect, 'or'ing in the
NSNonactivatingPanelMask bit, but no joy.
