Robert,
First, congratulations on finishing your app! ;) As for pursuing a
sales model for your app I fully recommend eSellerate. I am in no
way affiliated with Josh (quoted above) or eSellerate [snip...]
The only complaint that I have is that their payments lag a bit
behind the billing period. You get paid once a month, but the
payment usually comes 2-3 weeks after the billing period ends. But
it is consistent and they do always make the payment, so it doesn't
matter much to me that it takes a little while to come. [snip...]
Dave,
Thanks for sharing your positive experience with eSellerate.net. I'm
considering using their services. I have heard that the payments lag
a bit from a quite a few developers. I think that eSellerate needs to
address this. If every month my employer gave me my salary check two
or three weeks late, I would be angry and feel like I was being taken
advantage of. Interest is potentially being earned on a significant
amount of money during this two or three week period.
It seems like the Cocoa Dev list might not be a good place to discuss
this and I'm sorry if my message reads like a flame.
Chuck
