Jim,

as far as I figured out, all sychronous URL-related calls
leak. Asynchronous URL calls work fine, as long as you
release what's required in delegates methods.
I _feel_, that other things happen and the app
crashes - sometimes.

The issue is currently under evaluation by DTS.

As long, as they do not confirm, please see this as personal
of me (an I'm not with apple).

This issue is currently under evaluation.

I've seen a couple references on the web to this call hanging programs under
certain unspecified circumstances if the URL is across the web.

Is anyone aware of what the conditions are?

Thanks,
Jim
