If it is using ColorSync, it's probably doing everything via ICC profiles, so I doubt you'll find out it's using the "one minus" method or anything like that. There may be "fast paths," though, for particular color spaces.

yup, I'm using a few modified one minus method from adobe, etc., but it needs some work. About 5 years ago someone on this list gave some different ones, but I don't remember them. I don't see any functions to get transformation profiles from a ColorSync lib either.
