Hello...
I think the problem is that you need to change the inspector to the
"Custom Class" panel, and select your PreferenceController class
there. I don't think there are any attributes that can be set for the
owner object.
You might want to check out the website of the book's author, since
it has a list of all the errors and changes since the book was
printed.

If I recall correctly, the specific link for the book information was
in the very last chapter, where he also gives a list of other
references and online resources.

I am working on Chapter 7 of Aaron's book. After creating the
PreferenceController class, I created a new empty Nib file,
Preferences.nib, added it to the Project, dragged
PreferenceController.h. However, when I selected File's owner, the
Info Panel's Attributes did not appear at all. I did this several
times with no luck. I then tried using the Read Files submenu as an
alternative way for parsing PreferenceController.h and got the same
result.
Would very much like to know if anyone could suggest what I might
have done wrong.
