Paste Command Unavailable for NSStatusItems

Hello,

I am developing an NSStatusItem application and text fields don't respond to command keys. I presume that this is because there is no Edit menu associated with a status item object.

Is it possible to work around this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Karl
