I develop a PHP package called myPhoto (http://agent0068.dyndns.org/~mike/projects/myPhoto/ ) which interfaces with iPhoto to automatically share all of your photos online using the built in web server. While the XML file is good for the most part, there's still some info from iPhoto that Apple seems to tuck away in those other files (i.e. ratings?) that would be handy and Applescript could be a bit inappropriate to tie to a web page. Then again, I'm always interested in what's going on inside iPhoto... :-)

What is it exactly that you guys are trying to do with this? You may be able to just use AppleScript.
