Hi,
here everybody earns money... :-)
I think this:
It should be nice to have "one" only software update program on MacOS X.
Yes, I agree, it could sound unsafe at the first look.
Anyway, Apple could cerfificate some companies in order to list their
software in that list, but this it's too hard to manage.
Or more, without any Apple certificate, forget that, the developer could
make the application ready to put it on that list, then the user should take
the final decision and put it in that list or not (drag and drop + asking
for admin password, or just like the startup item...). The list should even
show a new column of the supplier of each software.
So, every week, without installing any extra tools, va-va-woo, you get the
latest software you know and love. Cool!
Give me back the 4", please ;-)
