The only difference I can see is that my application is not a document based app. I originally built it as a cocoa app only.... not sure why other than being a newbie and not really understanding the difference. I only have one nib file, a mainmenu nib. Maybe that's my problem. Other than creating a new project and adding everything back I don't know if that will make it work.
