better then, since if you'd done it right you would only have needed
to implement one of these :-)
One wasn't actually a class but a method that constructed a string-key
based on the object's address because I needed an identity dictionary.
One was implemented as part of a PDF interpreter.
A third was a more generic implementation with an automated
object-table class. I considered joining up the two, but it wasn't
worth the dependency at that point.
