EOF Cocoa Alternatives...

  • Subject: EOF Cocoa Alternatives...

At this point, it seems safe to conclude that Obj-C / Desktop EOF is not going to be separated from EOF and may not have long to live.

Are there any objective-C persistence framework alternatives? I know that GnuStep has partially implemented EOF functionality, but they've got quite a ways to go, and they don't have an equivalent of EOModeler yet.

ORM is starting to catch on in the Java world (witness Hibernate & Cayenne)... it'd truly be a shame if the platform where it started got left behind. =(

Thanks.
Jeff
