I have the same impression. It's a pitty, losing all the advantages of an OODBMS, only because there's not enough demand.

Yes, there's one. At least, it should still run on MOSX: GOODS <http://www.garret.ru/~knizhnik/goods.html>.
Unfortunately there's no ObjC interface. I was very close of finishing one, but I run out of time. Perhaps sometimes later
