Mixing NSThreads and posix (or MPTask)

  • Thread-topic: Mixing C++ with Objective C

is it safe for Cocoa programs that include Carbon-based libs to spawn posix style threads? is it possible to pass in an obj-c function pointer as a callback into a posix-style (carbon thread)?

Anyone have any advice when it comes to mixing threads?

thanks

Zameer
