I have a Core Data application with an entity called Split.
Modelling was done graphically, I then wrote custom methods to set
and get values, which I put into Split.h and Split.m.
I create a new NSManagedObject like this:
NSManagedObject *mySplit = [NSEntityDescription
insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"Split"
inManagedObjectContext:managedObjectContext];
and try to do:
[mySplit setRatio: theRatio];
I get this when running the progam:
" 2005-08-06 00:44:51.233 Prices[2556] *** -[NSManagedObject
setNameOfEntity:]: selector not recognized [self = 0x30e340] "
I also get the comiler warning: " 'Split' may not respond to '-
setRatio:' " , although it's definitely implemented in Split.h.
You have probably misspelled the name of the custom class in the model.
