Table view and filtering multiple columns

Folks,

I'm trying to create a Cocoa poker client to go with my server (in my sig). Poker client lobbies usually look something like this: http:// www.fulltiltpoker.com/lobby.php.

The list of games is the main component of the lobby and I would like to give players an easy way to filter the games.

The interface I envision is sort of like that of Delicious Library, where the list of games is in the middle and the game detail is in the pane on the right.

All the interfaces I have seen supply a single search field but how can I use it to filter multiple columns of my game table? What if I want all Texas Hold'em games with less than 10 players, for example? What is the Cocoa way of doing this?

    Thanks, Joel
