Helper tool crashes(without crash logs) at log out

  • Subject: Helper tool crashes(without crash logs) at log out

Hi,

I have a helper tool which launches some daemons right
after installing my application. This helper tool is
retrieved with MoreSecCopyHelperToolURLAndCheckBundled
and launched with MoreSecExecuteRequestInHelperTool.

The helper tool is taken from the MoreIsBetter
examples.

If there is only one user logged in and he logs out
after install, the daemons crash. If there are more
users logged in and the current user(the one who made
the install) logs out, the daemons are working fine.
The daemons are working fine with user switching too.

After restarting the computer, the helper tool is not
used anymore because the daemons are started from
/Library/StartupItems and the problem does not appear
anymore.

Please help,
Fabian
