You're probably looking for -componentsForDisplayAtPath: (name from
memory). It's in NSFileManager or NSWorkspace. But note that there's
no one-to-one translation between the array elements for display and
the path components, because display names are actually based on HFS
paths. So, in my German OS, the path
Users/me/Documents/This:That.txt
will result in the display
Benutzer -> me -> Dokumente -> This/That
(assuming This:That.txt is set to have its extension hidden). But if
you just want to display the path to your users, that API call is
what you're looking for.
