support for CGDirectDisplayID?

In Cocoa, does it have direct support for displays (monitors, CRT's, panels, DFP's, whatever you call them)?

I found CGDirectDisplayID as the data type but I am wondering if there's any existing Cocoa class that deals with or encapsulates that data type on Mac OS X.
