Ah, I reported the wrong information.  The app was developed and looks good
on my Powerbook G4.  However, the line heights and character widths were
bigger when I tested it on an old 12-inch G3 iBook, which I had forgotten
that I had upgraded to Tiger.  I'll investigate further and report later....
