Mounting a Volume From a WebPage(Safari)

Hello All:

I am hoping someone can assist me. I am attempting to
add the ability for users to upload multiple files in
my web-based application (we are using Safari on
Panther). What I have attempted to do is write a Java
applet that uses Cocoa to call an AppleScript
(NSAppleScript). This approach works fine if I run
the Java code in the terminal but running it as an
applet does not work. Can this be done? Is there a
better way to do it? I am not stuck doing this in
Java - just figured it would be the easiest for
deployment.

Any help is appreciated!
