Contextual menus in Outline Views

  • Subject: Contextual menus in Outline Views

Hi,
I have an outline view listing data sources (much like the left column in iTunes), and would like to add a contextual menu to the items. I expected that setting the menu attribute of the data cell would have this effect, but it doesn't appear to work. I saw an earlier thread (on 19/12/04) noting that Contextual menus don't appear to work in NSTextFields or NSTextFieldCells. Is this why? My cell for the outline view inherits from NSTextFieldCell.

Is there any way to add the appropriate contextual menu?

Thanks

Bob
