On 25 Jan 2005, at 05:02, Mark Lilback commercially plugged:
Since you are working in a commercial environment, take a look at the
MacSQL Framework (of which I am the primary developer) which just
shipped at MacWorld.

You can download a copy with complete headers, documentation, and
examples. Licensed per developer with unlimited runtime distribution.

This looks very cool indeed. The only problem is that $700 is a lot of
cash for developing non-commercial software, either free-ware or just
home tinkering. This raises a couple of questions:
1) Is there anything even close to this sort of functionality as
free-ware or open source?
2) Does RT Labs offer any sort of license for using this for personal
use without any redistribution rights?
Cheers,
Nicko
