Thank you for many responses.
Now I understand how the drag & drop specification differs between Carbon
and Cocoa.
I also like the Carbon way better.
If the Cocoa's delay in a start of drag & drop is adjustable and I can set
it to zero second, the Cocoa's behaviour will become the same with Carbon.
Is it possible? How to adjust the delay?
