EO_Archive files in nibs

I'm building a native Objective-C application. Since XCode 2.1 (which I intalled including the WO tools) Interface Builder seems to create _myAppName_EOArchive_Language.java and JavaCompiling.plist files in every nib that it opens.

- I guess these are completely useless for an Objective-C application?
- Can this behaviour be turned of? (I could remove the files in a script build phase as a last resort)
- Is this a bug or a feature?
