QTMovie under NSTextView

I have a window in which I have a QTMovieView and over that I have an NSTextView. I have set the textview and scrollview so that they do not draw their bg. This is working because I can see the window's bg through the textview.

In IB i placed the movieview at the back so that the textview is on top.

When I place text in the textview, the movie draws over the text. Is there any way I can reverse this?

When I use an imageview under the textview, the text draws on top and I'd like to do the same with the QTMovieView.
