transparency and beyond.

Hi,

I am working on a chat/messenger client for Mac OS X.
I am new with objc and was wondering what I need
'class(s)' to research in regards to making the main
chat window transparent.
(e.g. look like a transparent terminal) I have read on
some stuff, but was hoping someone can point me into a
direction more specific.
