Core Data Model "Configurations"?

  • Subject: Core Data Model "Configurations"?

I'm just getting into Core Data...

Can someone please elaborate on "configurations" in relation to Core Data, Entities, etc? The Xcode 2.1 User Guide, p 160, Configuration Pane, says, "A configuration is a named collection of entities in the model." I also recently read in another Apple dev doc (as an ex.) that configurations might be used to limit a user's access by loading a specific named configuration depending on the user's access privelages (administrator, etc.). This appears to be a useful feature, but I can't seem to put it all together.

Thanks,

Keith
