What is your goal here? What would you use this knowledge for?
Well, presumably one may want to render guide lines or other marks
that are always very fine or thin no matter the output resolution.
Especially with the advent of resolution independence.
I wasn't saying you may not need such information I was only trying
to understand why you in particular wanted to know this information.
I have seen folks asking for something when in fact it is unrelated
or better solved another way.
Humm... I cannot find the document I am looking for so I cannot give
you the answer I recall seeing once to this question. Try asking or
searching on the Quartz developer list [1] if you don't get an answer.
Anyway note the following APIs (new in 10.4)...
