xcode's user files and version control

  • Subject: xcode's user files and version control

I have two machines - a desktop and a laptop, and needless to say,
they are quite different in terms of screen real estate.

On both machines, however, I have the same username, and so xcode
wants to use the same file to store my screen layout settings.

This means that those files change *constantly* in and out of version
control. Worse, the screen settings aren't really shareable across
the two machines, so I always have to fiddle with them.

Anybody come up with a clever solution to this?
