Felix:
The basic rule of thumb is that if your users can open more than
one document in your application at a time, then you should use a
document-based application.

Hi,
I am pretty new to Cocoa and am currently evaluating all the nice
technologies in it. However, I am not sure, whether to make use of
the NSDocument class for this project. My application should have
multiple windows, which - among other things, that can't be opened
or saved - can *also* display and modify media files.
I do now wonder, whether I should still make use of NSDocument or
whether it will give me more headaches than save me time.
Any comments on whether it is recommendable to use NSDocument for a
multi-window (with equal content, just not what is usually a
document) application rather than handling multiple windows, undo,
etc. myself would be very welcome. Thanks in advance.
