Getting the Default Web Browser

  • Subject: Getting the Default Web Browser

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a way to get the name or path of the system's default browser. I'm ultimately hoping to get the app's icon to use as a toolbaritem image.

I can use NSWorkspace's fullPathForAppName if I know the name of the browser, or I could go straight to getting the icon if I knew the path.

How can I learn what the default browser is?

Thanks!

Dave DeLong
