What exactly about the code generation was scary? :)

i think actually it was more the:

unsigned char path[1024];

in a Cocoa app.  yikes.  Even this document:

which mentions FSFindFolder uses CFURLCreateFromFSRef and CFURLCopyFileSystemPath instead of FSRefMakePath. no big deal, i just thought it was funny.
