Getting options to appear in custom bindings in IB

Dear Bindings Gurus,

When I define my own NSController subclass and call exposeBinding: on my bindable properties, and write a simple palette wrapper for them, they appear nicely in IB. But only the null value option and placeholder appear -- how do I get the whole transformer, continually sets values, conditionally enables etc. options to appear?

Cheers, Glen Low
