I'm trying to build an application using XCode (version 2.0 on Tiger 10.4.1), and no matter how many times I bring the project Info dialogue up and set the build style to "Deployment", after I finish building the app XCode informs me in the status bar that the project was successfully built using the Development build style. Even if I change the build style to Deployment and quit (without building anything), quit XCode and then start it up and open the project, the build style is development.

Anyone know what's going on with XCode and how to fix this problem?

First of all, this is a list for Cocoa development. There's a separate Apple list for Xcode usage called "xcode-users".

Second, you can't change the build style from the info window. If you could in previous versions, then that was a bug in those versions that was fixed. There are other ways of changing the build style; I simply added the build style pop-up buttons to a few window toolbars and that works for me.
