List of QuickTime File Types

In my Cocoa app I want to present an NSOpenPanel that allows the selection of any file that QuickTime can open. I can hardwire a list of common types, or maybe I can do something with CanQuickTimeOpenFile... But is there something I can call that will get me a list of file types or extensions that QuickTime can handle?
