Also, can someone tell me how to make a subview not a subview anymore? I can't figure that out, either. If I delete the topview, then the subviews are deleted too, and I don't want that.


Look at the documentation for NSView, specifically the methods - (void)removeFromSuperviewWithoutNeedingDisplay
and
- (void)removeFromSuperview

I actually meant, remove from a subview, inside IB, though. I used a work around for now, which is to copy the stuff, and then delete the original.
