You almost certainly shouldn't do that. You should simply execute one fetch request to retrieve all the data you want, and then filter appropriately in memory.

Or change the schema to actually model the groupings you are attempting to achieve.


You presume there is a way to effectively do so. So, where possible, a model should mirror groupings. With my situation, the groupings are transient and variable. So there is no practical way to have the model reflect the groupings.
