Kirt's suggestion is dead on (particularly the bit about Deployment,
and DMGs). I wouldn't recommend using a package unless your needs are
somewhat unusual.
My additional advice: in general, if an app fails to launch, check
the Console. In this case it would have led you straight to the
culprit, which is ZeroLink.

I've built it in my Applications folder and then
copied the entire contents to my friends Applications
folder which seems to work.
But if I do the same on another friends computer it
doesn't work.
Would prefer just to package it up into the standard
drag and drop.
Can anyone give me step by step instructions.
